How We Make A Difference!
About inktent
inktent is about interconnecting ideas and thoughts across disciplines through op-ed pieces, and motivating people to engage with each other, as they would under a tent. For the moment it's the written word, perhaps we'll expand to other media over time. We don't sell anything, so you can consume content here without any fear of being bombed by irritating ads and annoying pop ups.
intent's founder and writer is Deepak Kamlani.
About Deepak
I spent the first chunk of my life bouncing between Mumbai, India; Lagos, Nigeria; and London, England before settling in the USA. My background is in technology, where I had a good and long run. I remain involved in tech as an advisor to startups and venture capital companies. I am also a Mentor at the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship. Here, I help social entrepreneurs scale their business through guided mentorship, so they can reach their next stage and desired impact.
I'm passionate about people, things and ideas that cause change and challenge the status quo in society. inktent is about that- and the intersection of thought and ideas in science, technology, philosophy, politics, economics and business.
I graduated from The Doon School in India, University College London, and Imperial College London Business School. But I think of the time I have spent living on four continents- Asia, Africa, Europe and the US- as my greatest gift and education.
